Faisal Abdullah is an Associate Professor of Management Information Systems and the Director of Master of Science in Information Security (MSIS) Program. He is an information security specialist and a multi-disciplinary educator. His teaching and research interests include computer forensics, e-discovery, database security strategies, information security risk analysis and management of information security. He has an understanding of regulations such as SOX, GLBA, HIPPA and FSGA and security frameworks like ISO 27000, NIST controls, and COBIT. He has in-depth knowledge of quantitative, qualitative, and hybrid risk assessment procedures and disaster recovery planning. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He also just recently passed the AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE) certification exam. He is now an AccessData Certified Computer Forensics Examiner.
